Biography
Alex Reif is a Lowden, Iowa native who earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. He then continued his studies at Des Moines University where he received his doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Alex enjoys treating all types of patients and diagnoses. He specializes in the overhead athlete in both preventative care and rehabilitation after injury/surgery. He has developed DMOS Arm Care to help the swimming, tennis, volleyball, softball, and baseball overhead athlete to return to their peak performance. He firmly believes in listening to his patients and teaching them how they can reach their goals. His goal is to always involve his patients in their care so that they understand the “why” of what they are participating in.
When not meeting with patients, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, Sydney, and two boys, Aiden and Karson. He endures the highs and lows of being a Hawkeye, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs fan. He is also passionate about fishing and being outdoors.
