When it comes to coverage for orthopedic durable medical equipment, every insurance carrier is different. To best understand what your insurance will cover, we recommend checking with your benefits provider prior to your appointment. You may do so by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
The amount you may owe for your durable medical equipment will depend on many different factors, such as the type of orthopedic medical equipment you are purchasing and your insurance coverage. We recommend checking with your benefits provider prior to your appointment. Our billing specialists are also available to answer any questions you may have.
Durable medical equipment cannot be returned to DMOS for a credit or refund. We do accept donations of gently used orthopedic medical equipment for non-profit organizations.
If you have previously received a DME product from DMOS, you may purchase another one. However, you may be asked to pay a cash price for the new equipment.
