Biography
Dr. Jeffrey Bannister completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Michigan State University. Following this, he completed fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Dr. Bannister was a physical therapist before becoming an orthopedic surgeon. While working as a PT, Dr. Bannister spent time in the OR working with orthopedic surgeons and helped post-op patients with care after surgery. His experience as a PT ultimately led him to pursue a career in Orthopaedics. Dr. Bannister joined DMOS in 2022, and he specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgeries.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Bannister enjoys golfing, barbecuing, and watching college sports. He also loves to travel back to his home of Victoria, British Colombia, Canada.
