With over 12 years of experience, Karissa joins the DMOS Urgent Injury Clinic with a passion for serving patients of all ages. Originally from Decorah, Iowa, her background in oncology and emergency medicine has prepared her to handle a variety of patient’s with varying levels of physical and emotional needs. Karissa strives to provide a patient centered approach that allows all of her patients to live a happy and fulfilling life.
Outside of work, Karissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, as well as golfing, fishing, tennis and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
