Biography
Taylor Pirillo is an Occupational Therapist at our West Des Moines office. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Taylor moved to Oelwein, Iowa when she was 10. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa and completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Drake University. She is a member of the Occupational Therapy Honor Society, Pi Theta Epsilon, as well as the American Society of Hand Therapists.
Taylor has extensive experience in outpatient hand therapy as well as works PRN as an acute care OT in the hospital. She enjoys the collaborative effort to blend evidence-based clinical practice with the unique needs, desires, and interests of her patients. She deeply values the connections built with her patients and the process of guiding them to get back to living.
Outside of her profession, Taylor enjoys staying active and working on her own health and fitness by practicing yoga, weightlifting, hiking, and biking outdoors.
