Biography
Dr. Zachary Ries completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Iowa and went on to the Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, Kentucky for an Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Surgery Fellowship. As a physician at DMOS Orthopaedic Centers, he specializes in the treatment of spinal injuries and disorders including minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal navigation surgery, lumbar discectomy, anterior lumbar, and anterior and posterior cervical spine surgery.
At DMOS, Dr. Ries is excited to help patients return to the activities they enjoy by providing effective and safe techniques tailored to each patient with their individual goals in mind.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ries enjoys spending time with family, golfing, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and Hawkeye sports.
