DMOS Orthopaedic Centers Welcomes Mitchell Hughes, MD DES MOINES, IOWA, October 3rd, 2022 — DMOS Orthopaedic Centers is pleased to introduce our newest team member, Mitchell Hughes, MD. Dr. Hughes will provide care at the DMOS Spine Center in West Des Moines. Dr. Mitchell Hughes completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He went on to the University of Wisconsin Health University Hospitals for an Orthopedic Spine Surgery Fellowship. Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Hughes joined DMOS this October.
Dr. Hughes specializes in treating injuries and disorders of the spine. Dr. Hughes has demonstrated strong knowledge and expertise in his field and will provide patients with exceptional care. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Hughes to our experienced team,” said Rich Green, COO. “He joins us with a strong focus on spinal care, and we know he will add value to our practice and patients.” Dr. Hughes is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the North American Spine Society, the National Medical Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Hughes has published several industry publications and has participated in many research studies.
