Physical Therapist

Alex Reif is a Lowden, Iowa native who earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. He then continued his studies at Des Moines University where he received his doctorate in Physical Therapy.

When providing patient care, Alex focuses on injury treatment and prevention, with an emphasis on patient education. He firmly believes in listening to his patients and teaching them how they can reach their goals. Alex does not believe treatment should be a list of to-do’s. Instead, his goal is to always involve his patients in their care so that they understand the “why” of what they are participating in.

When not meeting with patients, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and cheering on his favorite sports teams. He is also passionate about fishing and being outdoors. If you have any fishing tips or hot spots, be sure to let him know – he will gladly share his catch with you!
