Matthew DeWall, MD

Sports Medicine, Hip & Knee Surgeon

As an Iowa native, Dr. Matthew DeWall has enjoyed his time as a DMOS surgeon since joining the practice in 2008. Dr. DeWall specializes in sports medicine of the knee and hip. He is highly skilled all aspects of knee surgery including partial joint, total joint replacement, and arthroscopic surgery.  He has also performed hundreds of total hip replacements. Dr. DeWall is an expert in: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction, knee arthritis and osteoarthritis, and meniscal repair. He uses the latest techniques and technology to perform simple and more complex hip replacement procedures. Dr. DeWall has published both textbook chapters and scientific journal articles on all of the research he has done with respect to the knee and hip.

Outside of practicing sports medicine, Dr. DeWall enjoys supporting local sports teams, as well as participating in outdoor activities with his family and friends.
