Jeffrey Bannister, DO
DES MOINES, IOWA, September 15, 2022 – DMOS Orthopaedic Centers is pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Jeffrey Bannister, DO. Dr. Bannister will be providing care at our DMOS Ankeny location.
Dr. Bannister attended Des Moines University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, he completed fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Jeffrey Bannister joined DMOS this month.
His current practice at DMOS includes the care of sports injuries (specifically those of the knee and shoulder), arthroscopic surgeries, and inpatient total shoulder replacements. With his strong knowledge and expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Bannister will provide local athletes with orthopedic care at the North Polk School District this season as their sideline physician.

Dr. Bannister is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. DMOS Orthopaedic Centers is proud to have Dr. Bannister join our team of Iowa’s leading orthopedic doctors. Dr. Bannister is now accepting new patient appointments at 350 NE 36th Street in Ankeny.
